I generally have drippers for home use, tanks for out of the house. The Crown on TC is good enough that I just end up using that as while the flavour and vapour production aren't at the same level as a dripper or genesis the convenience while in a game edges those out.

Saying that though, my dripper and RBA builds are generally around the 1 ohm mark or a little under and I run them at 20 Watts or less on a VW mod, my mechs, of course, are the same. The Mini+ is firing around that level on TC most of the time. Yes, I've bought many mods that kick out more than that (and run them at silly temps or wattage too!) but I keep going back to the 20 Watt range.

@saspro: Leakage was never an issue with the Crown, it makes me wonder if there's simply something flawed in the Rafale design. It wouldn't be the first time that something new was just a bag of spanners.

Looks like bad coil design, they've tried appealing to wattage chasers and made coils that don't work at sensible wattages.

My wife likes my mod so much I have decided to get her a kit for her birthday. I got her a "nemesis" mod in pink.

With some Efest batteries. These things last ages.

The biggest tank that takes ready built coils.

    And coils.

    She already has a charger.

Weird. I've been using mine for two weeks with a carbon knight mod and they've been great.

The only issue with Efest batteries is that they lie about the amperage. Not a big deal until you need the 30 amps that they claim and simply cant deliver :(

I'm only using them on 1.8 ohm coils so I doubt I would ever need anything close to that.

Efest are largely fine. They've released some turds in the past, but check the reviews before you buy. I wouldn't want to cane them too hard, but for 95% of usage scenarios they will be as good as anything else in the price range.

I did some research and it’s probably just with the cuboid i know about the amp lies as i bought two at 3500 figuring they would actually be around 2500amp. Allot of people are saying you need to mod the battery door but if the samsung 25rs work fine i don’t want to go tampering. Which is weird because looking at the battery’s they look exactly the same build wise.

There's amps that a battery can withstand and then there's mah, 2 different things, although most battery manufacturers gild the lilly for both.

I have six Sony VTC5s so far, no grumbles with them. No voltage drop off as the battery drains which, unfortunately, is characteristic of the ten Efest batteries I have.

I have 4 of the Samsung batteries which I us in the P3, run that at 15w and they last for a day.
On anything above 15w, mechanical or sub-ohm then it's Sony batteries all the way, they can handle the load you're putting on them safely.

I have 4 of the Samsung 18650 25R's, with another 2 being delivered hopefully today, I think I might need to get another charger and then I need to mark each battery so I know which are paired to each other.

Still waiting for my Gemini RTA to be delivered, but apparently Sub Ohm Masters where I ordered from still have not received, any stock to deliver out to people and now Vaperesso have announced a newer version of the tank which I believe only went on sale this month.

Kind of annoying but whilst I wait I am running out of coils on my other tanks, and decided this morning to try the TF-V4 again after watching a video last night and it may have pointed, me in the direction of as to why I was constantly getting dry hits using the RBA(?) section.

Wicked it a few minutes ago and going to see how it goes.

I found the RBA deck on the TFV4 to be nowhere near able to cope with high VG juices as well as other RTAs. Doesn't matter how you wick it, after you've chain vaped a few, it struggles to keep up.

Got a Geek Vape Griffin to solve the problem. Best £25 I've spent on an atty in a LONG time. 25mm diameter version out in April too with bigger juice capacity and extra airflow option. That's getting ordered.

With your battery pairs mate, I bought a couple of eBay special reels of coloured battery heatshrink wrap. I tear off the factory wrap, strip the cell back to bare metal, mark them up with a sharpie with Amp output and mah rating and re-wrap them in colour coded pairs. Takes two minutes and costs pence per battery to do.

Thanks to this thread i’ve been smoke free since the 20th of February! Amazing considering i use to spend £5 daily on regular tobacco, Although my sense of smell is still useless i can still smell smokers a mile off (not trying to insult smokers in the slightest)

    thanks chaps!

Well got an email of Sub Ohm Masters, saying they are not getting stock of the Gemini till the 7th April, which is annoying but they are going to give freebies with it.

Providing you don't relapse, give it another few weeks and your senses of taste and smell will come back with a vengeance. When you eat, it's like you're tasting all your favourite foods for the first time again. Amazing.

    Couple of things today.

    1. Can you guys recommend me a decent 18650 mains charger please?

    2. Ugh. When I ordered liquid last they did not have any water melon in stock so I got vanilla to try (never had it before) as well as Dr Pepper. Absolutely fell in love with vanilla (tastes like ice cream !) but forgot that Dr Pepper made me feel really sick and I'd had it before and hated it. Sod's law I didn't get paid til today so I'm still using it. It's revolting never again.

I've just ordered two vanilla, two strawberry and four blackberry. The blackberry was on sale half price and I've had it before and it's OK. A bit 'floral' but far better than this manky Dr Pepper crap. I will use that as a back up.
