Well i kinda wanna make a blow hole, since i have a 55cfm 92mm fan and an extra grill which was supposed to be usued for my fan tunnel but it didnt work, so i have an extra fan and grill. I have a raidmax scorpio 868, anyone ever take off the top? Is it just held on by the rivets in the back or is there more in the front? Will the blowhole help me? cuz im using the raidmax psu, and the intake fan on the psu is parallel to the cd drives and the psu exhaust fan, so would the blow hole get effected by that intake fan? Because i dont wanna cut a hole in my case and than have it worsen my temps so anybody cut this case up/take the top off?
I dont have the case but if it is riveted in then just drill the rivets out you can replace them later with rivets srews or just glue. As for will it help may not help but it shouldnt worsen effects. how many intake fans do yuo have blowing air into the case, and how many fans do you have blowing air out.
well i have a 120mm and an 80mm as intake then 2 80mm and the one from the psu as exhaust, i dunno whether to make the blowhole as intake or exhaust also, i dunno if i wanna use a dremel seeing as i suck with it i guess, could i just drill a bunch of holes so it looks like a circle thats outline in holes? and then cut that? would any drill bits work and go through the metal?
I have one of these cases for a customer. To romove the top there are 2 rivits on the back and 2 rivits on the front behind the plasic front pannel (not the door but the whole front pannel) Hope this helps!
ook thats what i was told before but i had to make sure so i just gotta remove the rivets by drilling them? (what size), and i wouldnt have to take my crap outta my case to drill out the rivets would i? and then thats it the top just comes off? Can i use any drill bit to cut holes into the top panel? or is there special made ones for metal? and what screws do use to hold the panel back there? regular case screws? o off topic but i wrote my name on the inside of my door in permanent black marker (was afraid of people stealing my computer at a lan party LOL) is there anyway to remove it without painting it?
