serious question as ive started finding my collection cnaging & i was wondering if i was the only one (i supposes having acess to most of free europe & arabic channels also helps)
you mean not sung in english right? or music of other origins, like hindu stuff... I guess Rammstein and Metakix would count....
Japanese Stuff People are Likely To Recommend: The Pillows (garage rock) Mad Capsule Markets (weird sorta techno metal cum punk stuff, very cool) Ayumi Hamasaki (nice JPop) I listen to loads of Swedish bands if that counts
i mean both six degrees, k you have cool tastes & music stew, what is so wrong with bangrah music, ok i dont understand a word of it but you dont need to understand the lyrics of music to get the feeling of the singer / intrument players that made the track am i right or am i right
Best Indian influenced track I've ever heard is a song called 'Strumming on my Sitar' by Sultan Drops. It's a killer little number that plays through Rick McCrank's section on the eS skating video 'Menikmati'. Highly recommended.
Check out Kazza for a track called 'Mundian To Bachke (Knight Rider Mix)' by Punjabi MC. You will love it. I promise. For some Japanese vocal moves, try 'Candle Chant' by DJ Krush.
You all remember Holly Valance's "Kiss Kiss?" yes I know, we all just watched the video and had the tv on mute, well the guy who released the original song in Turkey "Tarkan" I have one of his songs, it was number one in Turkey when we were there '94 I think... (it's been number 1 for something stupid like 400 years.) the song is called "Sikidim" and it's pretty cool.
