...and think seriously would it hurt the series to have a cameo from Iron man, Thor, maybe even Bruce banner. Even friends could afford cameos from Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.
Not necessarily. A few of the best episodes of Star Trek: TNG and Voyager involved unknown miror crew members. This is sort of the equivalent.
Yes it would hurt, the series is terrible! Why would the actors waste their time! If you recall no one knows Colson is still alive, either Lady Sif agreed to keep it a secret from Thor.
None of the avengers know he's alive, so they can't cameo. Well, black widow/hawkeye may know being shield agents.
That doesn't mean there paths wouldn't cross................... The team aren't supposed to be dead after all.
True, but Agents of SHIELD at times feels like a series set on the Enterprise in which you never ever see the senior staff, ever, not even in passing in a corridor... even when they did such an episode, they bump into the Bridge officers... it's unavoidable... Even if it's a back-of shot 'was that who i thought it was' deal, I would like to see some of the film/main marvel characters show up... Stark is technically a consultant... consult him...
I started so I will finish it! If I get get through Lost I can get through this! Other than Colson it's so....blah... I don't want love stories and loving friendships, I want action and Shield being sneaky!
Spoiler Maria Hill is back at the end of the month (Spoiler tags around URLs don't work so well, do they?)
I think the series is alright enough. It's something that can be on one monitor while I do work on the other two, but I don't find the writing particularly good.
It's light-weight entertainment, but it knows it is. There's no pretentious plots like in Lost, there's no young people with special powers fighting evil shadowy government agencies, there's no plodding space opera. It just is what it is, fizzy pip entertainment, and the characters are engaging enough. It has potential to be a lot better, but it would need to be produced by Brits for that.
or canadians... the canadains have produced some decent stuff for both sides of the pond... [though they've produced some dross too]...
S.L. Jackson has already been in the show, EP01 or 02 from memory. But i think it's great, i can sit down, switch off brain, and it all makes sense. SAm
I started watching it, but after the first few episodes the script really did my head in. I found it pretty poor and annoying to watch! But then, I don't really like marvel that much.
I suppose that's true Spoiler especially during the s**t storm that happened to Shield in the latest episodes, they could have asked for help from Stark to fight Hydra. It could just be that the world is a big place. I do like how the show ties in to the films, but at the same time I felt there were some possible minor spoilers for the new Cap America film which I haven't seen yet. Since we're on about super hero TV shows, anyone watched Arrow? Or have you failed your city?
Considering the general lack of Sci-Fi on TV (I don't have sky or bt) it's quite watchable, nothing like as good as "Fringe" though.
They do that with a lot of series now, like a mid season break. I was watching the latest series of the big bang theory and it just stopped, now I have no idea when it will start up again and will probably miss it. In regards to another post further up I really like Arrow, keeps me wanting for the next episode.
