I had a play around with a photo of my car this morning - great fun beefing it up a bit.

Have a go yourselves and post the results here if you have time.

This is what mine came out like

Thanks for liking my car everyone, it's my little beasty and I am quite proud of it!

I wouldn't really want wheels that big by the way, was just having some fun in photoshop :p

Why? with those rims you'd need a step-lader to get in mate.... ;)

hehe, if the rims were really that big I doubt that I'd be able to steer very well, probably have the turning circle of a coach!

Looks like a lovely mini you've got there djrusty. I'd love a mini myself but they don't seem to come in "fast" and, not being RTT, I doubt I'd fit :(.

1440cc, well prepped mini vs big car on a B road?

    Mini every time.

1440, nah do what i did and slap a mg metro turbo lump in it, you wont be able to drive it without smiling :D

i even prefer it to my little bro's one that has a 1380 lump in it with 286 cam

penski - 10 wheels are best I agree, mine's got 12 x 6 rims on though cos I couldn't afford to swap out the brake calipers to enable me to go smaller. Got yokies on 'em though so she grips well.

Adam - as for them being fast, ok they don't have a great top end, mine gives in at about 110mph. Having said that the accelration seems to be good enough to see off quite a lot of modern cars, incuding my mates VTR. I can keep up with him up to about 60. I am running a standard cooper 1275cc lump with race spec maniflow exhaust and manifold, and a K&N open filter on the carb. The single point injection models are pretty naff in standard form, look for an early carb model, they are better and you don't need to keep the CAT on either.

I would love the twin kawasaki motorcycle engine conversion to go with those - now that would really shift! Hmmm, acceleration . . .
