Hi all, Not sure if this is in the right forum, but I'll let the mods decide. I've got a 939 mobo that I need to make doubly sure is faulty, and to do that I need another 939 CPU. I don't have any spare in my house or friends houses though, and since it's not worth buying one I'm hoping someone has one lying around that they're willing to send out to me for a few days? Obviously I'll pay postage both ways, and if the thing was broken when I returned it (not that intend on doing anything more than sticking it in the mobo, running memtest at totaly stock settings for 40 minutes, and sending it back) I'd replace it happily. If anyone would be willing I'd really apreciate it, since I'm stuck with this mobo untill I can get it confirmed to be the problem. Cheers now!
no go here, i dont have any socket 939's laying about. but this shouldve been in the for sale forum, under a "wanted" tag.
Yes I do, but I'd be pretty uncomfortable in sending and recieving, since I'm anxious to sell the thing.
Proof the bit-tech community rocks, when someone can jump online and borrow a cpu from someone and be trusted enough to send it back.
