I have ordered water cooling stuff from Tekheads and it arrived in good order although the packaging wasnt great.

One place I recomend above allare OCUK, I have had things go wrong and there support is second to none.

ive used tekheads many times and havent had a single problem. orders have been processed and delivereed withing 2 or 3 days of ordering. I found them to be helpful when i needed assistance, and sams a nice bloke!

every website has problems, i bought stuff from overclockers.co.uk and had problems with delivery taking way to long. other people have had no problems. Same with ebuyer, i have not had a single problem, and they have been very good to me, but other people stay away. if just a case of luck.

I don't lie to people. If I've said the PSU was replaced, then it was because I've looked on our system and it has said 'item replaced'.

It seems to me we accidentally sent back the same PSU. If you want a replacement on it, just email me.

We had a few fraud problems in January which resulted in some hastily implemented changes to our billing and shipping system. This is most likely what has caused the problems there. This was sorted out very quickly afterwards.

My apologies if you think we don't care because we do.

In general, January, February and March were very poor months for us. We were switching banks and merchant services, and moving premises, and due to some unforseen circumstances our levels of service slipped substantially. Quite a lot of that was down to our stock levels being very low.

Over the past 6 months we've been making great strides in all departments, and really our reputation is second to none - which is why I'm rather surprised there are so many people on here who aren't happy with us.

My personal email is always there for anyone who does have a problem and wants to deal with me directly - sam@tekheads.co.uk

    Hi Sam :)

Well I've got rid of the PSU and replaced it now mate :( since it was no good to me as it wouldn't power any of what I needed it to other than my P3 500Mhz system.

I rang up when the 'replacement' you sent me (after i returned the first PSU) exhibited the same problem and was told by you (I do recall asking for Sam, as you were helpful with the initial RMA via email and over the phone) that it had been replaced and it still doesn't work, but was told if the replacement didn't work then it was a problem elsewhere rather than the PSU. Basically the first PSU was faulty, and the 'replacement' had the same problem, but all emails and phonecalls to Tekheads were met with the answer that if the replacement PSU had the same fault then it wasn't the PSU.

I tested that PSU and the rest of my kit with another working PSU at the PC shop that I worked at way back then, got RTT (admin on this forum) to test it for me, and basically the PSU was faulty but in an unusual way. To summarise:

    Powers 233Mhz P2 system fine
Powers my old 500Mhz P3 system fine
    Powers 900Mhz Athlon system fine
    Won't power my XP1500 system
    Won't power RTT's Athlon 1.3 Tbrid system

This is a 340w AMD approved Chieftec unit btw (came with a Dragon case I ordered from you around). I have RTTs word that the above is true, as he's had it and tested it for me, as has the computer shop I used to work in.

I realise mistakes do get made with replacement and parts getting mixed up, but I phoned twice explaining the predicament and how the 'replacement' was exhibiting the same problems, and was told if the replacement was duff then it can't be the PSU, and was personally told by yourself it *had* been tested but replaced anyway, and there was nothing wrong with it. In the end I gave up and bought a 350w Enermax PSU, as it was too much hassle and I needed my system up and running ASAP.

I doubt you intentionally misled or lied to me by saying the PSU was replaced when it wasn't, but the fact is you still did :(

All this was around 12 months ago now, but I still remember it as it cost me money :(. I shall say no more of the matter here, but I felt I should explain why I was annoyed and why I feel i have been misled, probably accidentally. Anything more of the matter you wish to talk about, my email is in my sig, as I understand you do not want a slanging match on the forums and neither do I.

I see what you mean. We were working on the assumption that you had had two PSU's that exhibited the same problem. Obviously, if we'd sent back the first one again by accident then it was still the PSU, but we weren't to know it was the same PSU again. If you see what I mean :)

Yah I see it was probably an accidental mistake on your part, but annoying nonetheless when I couldn't convince anyone there it was actually the same PSU and therefore could not RMA it :(
