Probably not the right section for this, so correct me if I'm wrong.
A friend on another site brought this up so I figured a few gamers here would enjoy the look of this http://dingoo.co.uk/

Basically it's the better parts of a PSP but it's at a more attractive price.
    Thoughts?

This is the new Gamepark handheld, dunno why they call it the Dingo or whatever. It's called the Caanoo. Screen is only 320x240 so that pretty much wrecks it for me.

I'd rather have a DS XL or iPod 4.

Reminds me a little bit of the Pandora.

A machine for handheld emulation is always nice, but as they are generally built by small companies who'll offer relatively minor support (assuming that, because you are ordering something fairly esoteric, you will be able to work most of it out yourself) and generally rely on their attached forums for problem solving.

That being said, I liked the Pandora. If they are still going (it's been a while) I'd like to grab one, one day. Iirc, it had better specs than the Dingo, was much better looking, dual analog, QWERTY keyboard, bigger screen and the ability to emulate PS1 games. I'm not too sure of that last point, though.
