I'm visiting my gf on the 18th-20th and she's going to see Feeder at Rock City on the 19th. If i cannot grab a ticket, does anyone want to meet for a pint or three? *n
Yeah. More of a 'keep penski company so he doesn't have to go back to the hotel by himself' than a meet really. Plus you get to see me drunk and be insulted in the flesh *n
oooh that should be funeroony... I'll see what my cash flow situation is ... I missed a sodding job interview DOH oh well..
Someone on the University of Nottingham Computer Science "For Sale" mailgroup was selling a ticket yesterday. Probably gone, but it's worth a try. Was thinking of going myself, as I live about 1-2 minutes walk from Rock City, but I'm a lazy bum, so I can't be bothered Try calling this number 07753339284 for the guy with the ticket. You might get lucky. Cheers.
wow, alot of us nottinghaemians here hardcore! i wont be interested in going for a drink with you no offence, i just dont want to meet you plus i have big band rehersals on wednesday nights! which the 19th is! if ur near rock city, goto templars, its just round the corner, and its great
Yeah, I most likely come just really depends on whether or not I get my disstertation plan ready in time.
The Speakeasy is better Pit And Pendulum Looks cooler though.... I'll happily pay £30 for one from a tout if it means i get to boogie with teh girly all night *n (£32 on trains, £96 on hotel....me'sa gonna be skintypoos)
well, if your willing to go far from there find high pave, ment street, its in hockly, near the pit and pendulum. there is a place called the glasshouse which is fantastic! bit pricey for the beers, but they do sommat called a "fishbowl". which is a fishbowl full of spirits and fruit juice, its a cocktail and there al;l so nice! cost £12 and will get you absolutele ****ed if u drink one to yourself and if your a vodka man, try revolution on broad street (gotta love nottingham )
just don't start talking to "Andy" the night porter in the Metro Travel Inn.... you'll never leave.... hmm... I quite fancy sending him a Royston Vasey postcard now.
gah, all these ppl in notts and pretty much the only ppl who went to the meet up (which, btw, was IN NOTTS) were from loughborough, essex, and wales! ghetto punks
I'm not in nottingham during the weekends. I'm not a big drinker anymore anyway, and seeing as that seems to be all that was happening at the meet up I guess it would have been a bit of a waste of time for me.
