If you fancy opening a London office I could probably fill all those positions for you with people I know in about 10 mins
Third line exchange and infrastructure would be right up my street, but I don't want to move to Bristol But they look like nice positions, people in that neck of the woods should jump on these. Just out of interest - mid twenties for first/second line positions? (a curiosity) You should do what Sas says and open a London office, I could probably be persuaded into the commute if it was worth it
If you like living in Brighton, you'd probably enjoy Bristol too, both have similar things going for them as cities. That job does sound almost up my street, but I don't have that much Exchange experience, and besides, I'm already happily employed I'll mention it to my mate though, he might be interested.
That is DEFINITELY true, I have always said if I didn't live here then I would live in Bristol as I used to do a lot of work there when I worked in the public sector. But alas, life, women, family, all in Brighton.
If I lived a little closer I would put myself forward for this. I just think it's too far to commute.
The trouble with living in the toecap of England hey pookie! At least you're close to the a380/a38 I'm happy with my job too Zoon. But if you ever want to open an office miles from civilization I'm your guy! The only person I know of in that area is you... Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
Wow thanks for the responses gang, I'll multi-quote some. Well actually there's lots of opportunities from Junior to Senior fixing Exchange - the Lync and Network roles are a bit more niche, but, there's loads of people in the industry here, albeit not many in my area! 'Fraid not Make them move to Bristol. It'll cost them half to live here, but the pay won't be half, and it's a great city to live in. Upto mid-twenties for the Service Desk role which is a first and second line helpdesk-to-helpdesk role, with shift allowance included in the pay If you're in the industry, you won't find much better opportunities than this. If you live in the area tell your friends in the industry! Come back through me here, I'll get CVs in. Please do nudge towards friends, and consider if we might be able to tempt you out. Great opportunities with lots of advancement available. They're a bonus, but not essential. Some experience would be needed instead, though. If you're looking for a "first" IT job still send over your CV because we are rapidly growing and I expect we're going to need more people at a service desk end over the next 6 months, I can keep you on file and give you a nudge later.
If you're in the profile and the pay is tempting, you should drop me a line mate. We have a few third line people who tele-work 2 - 3 days a week and for the other days they stay in a B&B over the hump (on their own dime). All of them at least as far out as newton abbot and some even further although you've actually got a more direct route up this way with the a38/m5 heading to us. The service desk role is definitely office based, however, so if that's what you have your eye on that might not work out.
I think out of country would be a stretch too far sorry, there is a requirement to be flexible and be in the office some of the time for the more senior ones. They're all filled now - which I'm pretty amazed at given Christmas is a slow recruiting time anyway - so thanks and I'll prod again if there's more vacancies (there will be).
