Aside from the Coolermaster store, anyone here know of a place that sells it cheaper? Because I'm planning to get the ATCS840, but I also want the window..

And paying $40 USD - shipping+tax is just extortion.

Performance-PCs.com sells an ATCS 840 with a custom window for $350-ish, though I don't know how that stacks up with the case and official side panel separately (and I'm far too lazy to look right now).

Not bad actually, but the only potential problem is that even with the stock window, the PPC case sells for $100+ more.

Have you considered cutting it yourself or hiring someone with a water jet cutter (or something) to do it?

If you have a Dremel, a sheet of plexiglass, and some patience, it could be done pretty quick.

I was condsidering this, but when you factor in the time, the plexiglas and the chance of screwing this up, it'd be cheaper to get the window.

So I think that I will disregard these posts and buy the window, sorry everyone.

Nah not really, unless you don't have a cutting tool then it will only be the price of the acrylic and about an hour to cut it and file it. It's not overly difficult, and you get the shape you want

Fair enough, I do have 2 dremels, and I do have a workbench. I just can't find the time at the shop since I'm swamped with tons of work.

I don't know how long you can wait for a case, but if you haven't seen the Corsair Obsidian 800D, I would recommend at least taking a peek... It's supposed to be out in the next couple months.

Hmmm, it does look really good, but $400 and no removable mobo tray?

I'm not going to dish out 100% more cash. But it does look like a good prospect, especially if it was cheaper.

It's gonna be $300, not 400, which is actually cheaper than the ATCS with a window.

Couple of articles confirming $300... There's also plenty more out there.

Also you shouldn't need to remove the mobo tray... It's got a CPU flap in the back (similar to the ATCS) for installing heatsinks while still in the case. It removes the issue when using heatsinks that are taller than the removable tray.

Take a look at the gallery they have on there... It really is a beautiful case.

    ATCS 840: $179.99
    Window: roughly $46

    That =/= $300.

And the corsair is really beautiful, although I'll have to wait.

Too bad Silverstone cases cost through the nose.

Ah, I thought you had said you were going to get the one from PPC that was posted above for $350. The case will be worth $300 for all the features it's got. The removable drive bays are worth about $100 on their own.

PPC's window is well.....really excessive. I was planning to get the Stock case and then grab the windowed sidepanel from Coolermaster(well a different site).
