Just got mine today and im really pleased with it apart from the horrible "rust" colour scheme. So i was wondering if anybody else has had any luck in modding/painting it?
I have painted my MX1000, if you want I will give you tips to painting/modding it. You will need all the sand paper and paint + body filler. From the pic of the, it will look like you might need to fill the G5 sign at the bottum. After basic filling with bondo, or even spot putty cause its small move on to painting. One thing you want to check for is a blueprint of the mouse. You want to see were all the screws are and make sure to keep all you screw and parts neat and packaged. Also rom #d view of the mouse all the screw look like there under the feet so make sure to take your time when taking the feet of as you will need them to be super smooth because its a gaming mouse.
