Yeah - best of luck buddy. I'd love google's shopping results to have a button to tick to filter out all the crap websites no-one's ever heard of and only leave the rest
This ratf##k son of a b###h got me for £178! My next port of call is my bank, unfortunately I need to contact my branch which will have to wait until tomorrow. I'll post the outcome so you all can learn from my mistakes - I know I have!
I'd be amazed if that's even his real address. There's no actual verification on the address or any of the info when registering a domain.
Best of luck getting your cash back matey hope you sort it soon, It wouldnt surprise me if hes been on Dominic littlewoods roge traders proggramme on tv if not Im guessing he will be soon.
OMG I'm really shitting my pants now! I ordered a monitor from this website for £122 a week ago and nothing recvd so far, plus no communication. I also payed by debit card grrrrrr ffs. I can't believe google shopping don't audit these sellers before endorsing them on their website. btw i paid via google wallet using my debit card. I might try contacting google and see what there policy is on such matters. Lucky i came across this forum/thread........ Will also speak to my bank tomorrow
Success!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My bank has agreed to refund the money and pursue Pronto Store for the funds! Just to give you all a heads up on the latest info, it turns out that the funds were debited from my card as soon as the order was placed but because I used Google checkout it didn't show on my account for another 8 days. This is why I thought they debited my card when the goods came back in stock, so another bad point for this mob is that they take payment even if the item isn't in stock. So here is a message for ka2335 (and anyone else out there) get your money back right now!! If you do try to get funds back for non delivery there is a waiting period of 15 days to allow reasonable delivery time. For me this has passed so they are returning my cash which can take up to 10 days - I honestly don't care about that I'm just glad I'm getting it back. So please learn from my mistake, it might seem like a good idea to buy from the cheapest e-tailer you can find but don't buy unless you know they can be trusted. Its worth paying a bit extra to avoid the problems I've experienced, it worked out in the end for me but there is no guarantee you might be so fortunate.
That is indeed excellent news. Hopefully this thread will now appear in google results every time someone thinks of using this mickey mouse outfit.
In other words - if you buy from a new, unknown shop, use only Cash On Delivery option, even if it costs a bit more. Never pay before you received the goods. Of course there is a possibility that they will send a brick instead of a graphics card... @shirty: it's on page 2 of google results for now.
In 24hrs Hey people, hope all is well? Listen, I'm not going to go into the details, but we're experiencing the same thing with this guy, he's been told 24hrs ago that he needs to refund the money or give the equipment asked for within 48hrs, otherwise I and some associates plan on making a house call. I taa picture of this guys face, what ever else happens, happens, so with that being said expect to see his face soon enough, if not then I would have caused enough of a problem for this whole thing to come out in the open. Hit me up get in touch, I'm really not hard to find, Facebook, twitter, whatever. Easy now
Just signed up now to say I had some problems with this store, I filed a request for mediation with Google Wallet and got a reply within 15 mins saying they have removed the wallet service for his website and are refunding me the £140 I paid for my thin air, I recommend anyone who has paid through Google wallet to do this instead of trying to contact him. On a side note, you guys have a very good attitude, usually posts like these are responded to with 'lol u noob haha', I think I might stick around here
Know it's been a few weeks now, but has anyone else had any luck getting their money back or even just getting any response from him? He got £179 off me last month and I've still not had any luck getting anywhere - and now the website itself is offline. :-( To the guys that said their banks sorted them out - can I ask what banks you're with? I didn't get anywhere with Santander - they said they could trace which account the money went to, but nothing more (and I know that already!). -> MrBlakeBlack - did you make your house call in the end?
Lost £635 to this scammer now looking to take legal action Hey all, I won't burden you all with the details but I recently lost £635 buying from this site, it was done by means of a bank transfer which I have since discovered was a VERY bad idea, but done due to the fact that I don't have any credit or debit cards (overly tough budgeting strategy). However, I am now looking to take legal action against Mr Neil Vincent, and so if anyone else is still out of pocket from this scammer, either through buying on Pronto-Store or any other sites they have run, please get in touch with me, I cannot guarantee you'll get your money back, in all honesty my priority is my own money and your experiences would add weight to my legalefforts, but who knows, it may help others to also reclaim losses. Please get in touch, Tim.
I'm with Lloyds TSB and I think they handled the whole situation very well. Before I had contacted them just about everybody I spoke to about this said that as I'd used a debit card instead of a credit card I would have a tough time getting my money back. However Lloyds TSB didn't even bat an eyelid and once the reasonable time for delivery had passed I had my full refund within 10 days as promised. Something else I learned from this situation, if you use a debit card then you are paying with your own money, if you use a credit card you are using your banks money and they take a dim view of anyone trying to commit fraud. As well as, for all intents and purposes, having unlimited legal resources. I'm glad they have been closed down, I hope I had a part to play in this but I'm afraid that its pretty obvious I'm not the only victim. Sad thing is it appears that this is not a new experience for this crook and he'll just pop up later on with a new name and do it again.
Hi all, After making a purchase for a Fractal Designs Core 3000 case for £50.99 from the online shop http://www.electrouk.co.uk i became concerned after waiting a week and receiving no item. I contacted the customer support through the website and got no reply. So i checked the company address: 7 Bransby Gardens Ipswich Suffolk IP4 2HQ, on Google maps and got this: Naturally i was concerned so i did a whois lookup on the domain name http://www.whois.com/whois/electrouk.co.uk and came across the domain name owner of Neil Vincent. After looking up Neil Vincent and the word 'Scam' in google i came across this thread! Unfortunately i paid by debit card using nochex. I contacted nochex today but haven't heard back from them yet. I'll keep you all posted on what happens next
Hi all, I am new to this forum, but I have also been at the receiving end of Mr Neil Vincent's scams. So I have managed to find his details for you all. He currently rents the property off Pennington in Ipswich. There contact details are 01473 222 268, I have made them aware of this situation and I have been assured that they will bring him in. However I was not satisfied with this so I have also reported him to the police for good measure. I hope this helps?
