If you have an opinion, please voice it ASAP :)

I've found a little 2001 Suzuki Esteem near my home that has 8k miles on it and they're asking $7988 for it.
My question is this, is the mileage worth it? I know I will save money on gas and maybe insurance, but what about maintainance? So my real question, has anyone had a Suzuki (or even better, an Esteem)? And have you had maintainance problems? The more detailed the better (of course). If I can't find any reason not to, I may very well be nabbing this car tomorrow or the day after :eeek:

Close relative of myne owns a suzuki samuri with the 1.6L 4 banger 4X4. I drove it. Its ok for a 89 truck. Its kinda plain, and never had problems but it only has 45k miles since 1989 when it was new. its a rust bucket now. It still drives strong. all I can say be carefull, because deals that look too good to be true usualy are.
