Anyone seen Goldmember yet?

Is it any good?

Or will I be kicking myself over the two hours of my life I'll never get back?

BTW - I'm an AP fan and have seen the other films

 

Aye, saw it last Friday mate. Pretty good.

Very much 'more of the same' though, so don't get in expecting anything revolutionary

I had the misfortune to go see austin powers 2 what a pile of pooh, it worse than mystery men and scooby doo and they take some beating.

 

I must be the only person in the world that thought Mystery Men was good....

 

Well you either love it or hate it it seems - i thought it was one of the funniest movies ive seen this year for sure!

 

When the first Austin Power film came uot i thought it would be ****. Nevar saw it, I then went and watched the second in the cinema and thought it was brillent, then watched the first on VHS, i thought the first and second were the same and they were, the third might be pushing it, i'll have to go and have a look see.

Has any one seen the film Slackers? I was not a big success but I am interested to see what other people thought of it.

Mystery men was a good flick, but The Specials was better IMHO.

 

I watched it 2 days ago and IMO it is a pile of ****
First and second one were good I thought, but goldmember is pants. I'd go watch MIB 2 instead, IMO that is way more entertaining than goldmember.

 

It was very samey to the second one , even the plot line followed the same structure, but the jokes are funny as always, I just hope they dont ruin it with a 4th installment

 

I liked 1 & 2. I'm looking forward to 3, but I'm not expecting much different, though I think I'll still like it. Mike is on my list of favorite actors, so I hope he stops at 3. I will not support a 4th installment at the theater or rental.

MIIB was really, really good. Sure there was no mystery to it, but it was written well as a sequel. Right now, it is probably the best sequel I have seen to date.

 

Don't get us started on the old "sequels are never as good as the original" chestnut.

seriousely ive heared the movis is supposed to be pretty good as it is that silly sort of humor most people like

 

star wars . the sequels are far far far far far far far superior to the first two.

twas utter poop IMO, in a few places, its really funny, but bout 80% of the jokes are just really nasty toilet humor, didnt find it ammusing at all really, if u try and ignore the "Fat B**tard" bits and the "bum and poo" jokes, then its quite funny I suppose

When I was seeing my ex I used to go twice a week every week for over 2 years. Always went to the new one in Manchester. I forget the name of it....

[EDIT] movies saves so much money, I still go see the decent stuff at the cinema though, need to go see MIIB.
