I was thinking of one, but at that time I had access to a scroll saw, drill press, you name it. School woodshop is a dream, however, no dremel that I know of, a friend has one though. But I wouldn't need one on my next case, I don't intend on doing a window, atleast not myself, if I do one it would be very complicated, something requiring laser or waterjets to cutout. Those things to me are the perfect tool for making your cuts perfect, obviously excluding round.
I think my grandmother's poodle might qualify as a hand nibbler.... Nice show of power though. I was considering one to do some smaller cuts on my driver bays and such. Nice to know I shouldn't have any problems cutting through simple aluminum.
Destroying the queens property??? Did you not know that you could be arrested and hung for that??? Well maybe not hung, but they might hit you with a rubber hose and stuff.
comeon over to the states and deface our coins - the worse that could happen is a pat on the back and a free BBQ Grill.
I do believe that was revoked, because how could you have those little machines which squish them into ovals with 'Welcome to Devon' or whatnot on. Anyway, back to the point: http://www.justoffbase-tools.co.uk/hand_tools/nibbler,_manual_hand_tools.html
Didn't LFO burn £1 million as a publicity stunt in the early 90s? Bet they're regretting that now! Maybe that's why you don't hear of them these days? Hung, drawn and quartered???
I got mine from Directron for about $8... superb little tool however, I think it is worth mentioning that it is slow progress what you are doing with this thing and you will need a new hand after a big cut job with one of these things... I originally planned on doing my side window with it but resigned to just doing the rounded corners because I don't have forarms like popeye... arg arg arg... Where it was irreplaceable is when I did my aluminum cd-rom faceplate... it is perfect for removing a controlled amount of metal or plastic on small/detailed jobbies.
Anyone getting a hand nibbler? No thanks I dont like my hand being nibbled on. Look like quite a powerful piece of kit,.
the best use for hand nibblers ive found so far is to eat away those horrible oem stamped out fan grills ... and if you live in an apartment and yer mom works midnights, its a hell of a lot quieter than dremeling .
