I've weighing up the options to replace my aging Linksys 11b router and I've noticed the ASUS on scan - http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=848360.

I want to go with draft-n as I'll be transfering and possibly streaming from my storage/desktop PC to my media centre PC so the additional bandwidth will be useful and I like the idea of the router having USB storage ports. What I don't want is a router that's going to keep dropping connection etc. I here a lot of horror stories about this and it's a problem I'm only just starting to get with my 5yr old linksys.

So does anyone have any first hand experience of this or any other ASUS routers? Or any other draft-n for that matter? If anyone can suggest a decent alternative that would be good too, one with gigabit LAN as well for not too much extra cost would be good!

Finally does anyone know if the USB storage on the router is accessible from the internet externally via my IP address?
