Bought a Toshiba NB-100-128 netbook back in March and took advantage of the cashback offer (£30 for this model). After waiting a month I filled in the application form online and sent proof of purchase through the post (recorded delivery) and that was about 6 weeks ago now.

How long do these things take? I tried looking for a phone number but can't find anything :sigh:

You'll need to chase them, and chase them hard. Did you make photocopies?

PS: Double posting = mega fail

Yes I have copies and chase them how - can't frigging find a phone number, suppose I'll have to contact Toshiba HQ or something.

Double post, me, moderator, how?

P.S. Sorry for your edit, supposed to quote but pressed the wrong button.

According to their T&C you should have it within 28 days... I can't find anything though so maybe a general tech call would help?

Eventually I phoned up and they said that my proof of postage confirmed that the application arrived in the post but it was not logged into the system and that they would investigate.

Several days later (today) I got an email saying that the application was valid and the cheque will be in the post today :)

Always send with recorded delivery, it only costs 75 pence!
