anyoone whos japanese, or knows about power supplys

    errr any japanese ppl here? do cd/dvd/51/4 inch drives work on english systems if imported from japan. also, how much is like shipping for that sorta thing,

    more appropiate in hardware me thinks :)

    personally in my idiots opinon i don't see y a drive shouldn't work here
    powersupply may be different :confused:

    Since most drives are made in Taiwan or China anyway, it don't matter where you import it from.

    I hope it's a very cheap drive, otherwise with shipping and import duty etc, it'll work out very expensive.

    I agree. I tried saving some money on my Skyhawk case by purchasing it from them in Hong Kong and cost me more than the price of the case to ship it so I ordered it from Wisconsin... $15 more for the case and saved about $120 in shipping :idea:

    only thing is maybe the DVD drive.. check to see what region its programed for.. better yet, find one that is UNLOCKED.. i made the mistake of getting one at a computer show/sale from some chinaman, and the damn thing is locked on that region.. useless for dvds from here.. :(
