I was just thinking about this and i figured it would be worth a try. Can you takea 4 port usb hub with firewire to usb and change it so u can plug it into the wall outlet? We have 4 ipod shuffles so we desperatly need a new alternative to charging these. Just an idea, Thanks, Shawn.
in theory if you should be able to charge them using a wall powered usb hub... though I dunno... I've never had a shuffle, and never not had enough usb ports to plug my iPods and other peripherals into
just get a powered usb hub. they plug into the wall, and supply power to charge your ipods (or anything else that charges off usb)
My friend tried that and it didn't work. But its worth a try I guess. I think you can buy adaptors with usb connections on them, my friend has one in his car to charge his iPaq (Tom Tom).
