    Hello!

I have a problem with my Aopen 6800GT. It worked fine for a long time, but one or two months ago the problems started. Sometimes my monitor just turned on standby and it there is no image in windows or in the bios, sometimes even both! And know he doesn't give image anymore. And also I see artifacts after standby  So I sent it to the shop for RMA. But they called me back and said that the videocard does work good in their pc. I was surprised  So they sent the videocard back to me, and now it's still doesn't working in my pc :'(. At the moment my videocard in the pc is an Ati 7500. I paid so much euro's for the Aopen 6800GT, and it doesn't work  :'( . Maybe my power supply is broken, because 1 time the 12 v line reached 11,4 V. So that's not a good sign. But I also think that my motherboard is incompatible with my Aopen 6800GT, but I don't know the answer :( . I can't use another pc parts like the power supply because I don't have them or can lend it from somebody else.

    What did I did?

    -Bios reset
-Installed other drivers at the time that he sometimes worked.
    - On every unnessecary part, I took out the molex.
    - I used a other monitor and dvi and the other one.
    - I plugged in another molex in the videocard.
    - I didn't oc'ed.
    - I took out 1 memory stick, and left the other in the motherboard. And then I took the memory stick that was in the motherboard out, and replaced it with the other memory stick.

    Specs:

    Intel 3,2E
    Asus p4c800 Deluxe
    2x 512 mb twinmos
    zalman 400 Watt

Can somebody help me? Thank you!

I have tested my 6800GT on another motherboard with the zalman 400watt. Guess what, the videocard does work in the other motherboard. But not with my own motherboard. I plugged my speakers in the onboard soundcard and then I heard a voice and it said: System failed vga test. So I am gonna mail the shop.

don't know... I'm trying to cover all bases. I had issues with a board and a new video card some time last year - updating the BIOS solved the problem.

Which problem did you have with your videocard? And with wich motherboard and videocard did you had that problem ?

I e-mailed the shop, but they still don't answer my e-mails. I sent 2 e-mails in one week (whereas they usually give answer in 24 hours). So, I don't have advice from the shop for what to do to fix the problem.
