    True, although it weighs nearly 1.5kg more and doesn't have an overclockable CPU. I guess it depends if you're using an external screen too - two 980M SLI is overkill for 1080p.

    For me the 2 big issues I look for with a laptop is heat and noise (and then size and weight). There is no point having a 980m if it gets as hot as a hairdryer and sounds like one too.

    As someone who has a need for a laptop over a desktop the current trend in power efficiency is more important than overall power and we are seeing the results of such research as mobile CPUs and GPUs close in on their desktop counter parts, but we are still not quite there yet. I am looking forward to seeing what Pascal rings.

    It looks like a cross between an Asus ROG with the MSI shield and the Falcon Northwest logo.

    Kinda sucks that it takes two 970m to beat a 970 though.

    So you are suggesting that they can't make requests of the manufacturers? Or that the requests would be ignored?
