Would the forum have to be a Apple one or just a non x86-Computers one? Or Both?

I think it would be cool, would increase the number of people coming to the site as well because of better all round knowledge than anywhere else.

Why not add a poll to this thread mods?

i am in favor of the addition of an apple forum. ive seen alot of apple computer mods out there and it would be nice to be able to add them to our mass of knowledge here. more voices and ideas could only prove to be a good thing, right?

plus, i used to be a mac guy, and i still keep up on the new mac developments, though not as much as pc's nowadays, as my house can attest.

[offtopic] epson printers rule, lexmark printers are evil. yes, they do the job printing term papers, but for the low end ones i usually end up getting in a rush to print a term paper, the print cartridges cost more than a new printer. which is why i have working but empty printers sitting around my house. Poll added. I and my fellow staff members will keep an eye on the poll, but the final decisicion on any new forums will be ours. Hokay? ;)

After GOO's extensive articles about switching over I think it seems silly NOT having one.

Great idea , there will be the demand , you'd be surprised how many mac owners there are on the forums :)

As for leaving the forums because of a new apple forum ,frankly I've never seen idiotic mac hating.

I wasn't actually going to vote here, as even though I'm a Mac user, Mac questions fit in OK in the forums that are already here.

However, having seen that post of pure.... tosh (what a word), I'm voting yay just to spite you :p

Are you all sure it wouldn't just turn into a forum where people would whine and gripe about their IPods? And sureley this new forum would also promote trolls wanderimng in all the time to start off the "mac vs pc" debate eternally. I vote no.

I completely agree, however I don't think it is right to not create a forum because of the trolls that will have a bash - thats why we have moderators. Trolls are not tollerated :thumb:

That's the process of "dealing" with Trolls - Trolleration.
