Networks apple ibooks

    not that big of a fan of the whole apple scene but just wondering, all apple integrated wireless cards are all compatable right? like any pc with any wireless 802.11? just making sure.

    from what I understand, they are, for example airport is 802.11b, and airport extreme is 802.11g, but don't quote me on that

    They should be compatible if apple want to be able to compete with the personnal computer.

    As the scene is dominated with the personal computer and any compeditor has to make it compatible with it to be able to sell. It would be foolish to make the wireless card incompatible with a PC. and anyway the 802.11g is a standard and any item using it will be able to connect to any other item using it. They can connect but the data shared my be a different question.
