Well MS introduced the tilt wheel ages ago so the sideways scrolling is hardly new.

I'm afriad I have issues with apple after baving to use them for a few years in the mid-90s. Making you run Excel with a one-button mouse was straightforward sabotage.

Of couse once the early adopters have bought it then the bonus edition will come out with free Guardian subscription, beard trimmer etc.......

Um - no one made you use a one buttone mouse with excel -
Seriously now - How many of you windoze users use the crappy 2 button rollerball mouse that came with your desktop instead of buying something nice from logitech or microsoft (or kensington)?

multi button mice have always worked with mac os and microsofts intellepoint software has had mac versions for years.

I don't have much choice in mice since I'm left handed, all the best mice are for right handed mousers only... which sucks ass.

I have the Logitech MX300, which is optical, has 2 main buttons, a scroll wheel and a quick app change button (which I never use). So mine isn't too far from the bog standard Logitech mouse a lot of OEM PCs seem to come with. HP have started putting USB optical mice in with their PCs now, which took them long enough.

whats darwin'ian evolution trying to tell you?

As an amphidextorus person, i do find it strange how you can't even order left handed versions of popular mice, even if you were willing to pay an extra £10!

Now, Animus, I know spelling isn't your thing, and I know you (for whatever reason) blame much of that on dyslexia...but seriously. Reading this, I think you're talking about the fact that you're dextrous with amphibians. And that's not right... ;) What you do with frogs in your own home is your own business.

    the word is amBidextrous. :)

Un well that was the mouse with the unseless underpowered buggy machine and we had the sort of IT department that would claim using an unauthorised mouse would give you a virus. :wallbash:

Well, whatever - the relevant bit is the crappy detection / indecision that results from using the mouse in a normal fashion...

  17. I say don't knock it till ya tried it. OK from what the register said it sounds like utter **** but I really can't imagine apple screwing up like that. I'll have to try one sometime...

So it's mighty rabbit now.... not Mighty Mouse huh?

So I though about a person not resting his fingers on a mouse and I came up with this rabbit...
