    I'm sure i read somewhere that the iPad 3 was out sometime this year too. Doesn't give this one much of a shelf life.

    Some rumours (emphasis on rumours) suggest that there could be an iPad release before Christmas, as Apple where unable to add to the iPad 2 what they truly wanted - the high definition display.

    I think I will hold out for the iPad 3 tbh, untill they whack up the resolution of the display Im not going to be interested

    Love my iPad, one of my most used bits of technology considering I travel a lot for work, I'll be upgrading, I just hope they bump up capacity to 128gig at least. My 64gig is stuffed and its a real challenge to put what I want on.

    looks like the left out 'SD card slot and a "super high resolution" 'for ipad 3 lol, i got give it to apple they know how to run a business, add few features and bam ipad 2.

    If I were to buy a tablet it certainly wouldn't be running iOS... what a pOS.

    It's too early for a retina display to be viable in a $500 dollar tablet if you ask me. I'd imagine this will be a pretty predictable update; cameras, better speakers, flat back, Thunderbolt cable etc. The main advances will hopefuly come through the software update.
