"First she turned down David Letterman. Then she said no to Jay Leno. For months, Ellen Feiss, the mysterious Net celebrity who starred in a popular commercial for Apple Computer's "Switch" campaign, refused all interview requests, including those from the two titans of late-night television. But Feiss, whose fame continues to grow even as she eschews the media spotlight, has finally granted her first sitdown with a reporter, albeit from an unlikely publication. The interview with the Brown Daily Herald, the college newspaper of Brown University, will be published Friday." http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,56528,00.html Was she or wasn't she?
Oh she was definitely wasted in the clip. It states that she wasn't on pot though. Guess I'm gonna hafta read the interview to find out what she was on. But then you also read on a little further and she's only 15!!!!
The Apple Switch Ad: http://www.apple.com/switch/ads/ellenfeiss.html Take a gander at that, a lot of people think she must've been wasted on pot or something else. She does seem a bit "out of it" I must admit. Here are some amusing photoshops of her: She now has a couple of fan sites: http://www.ellenfeiss.net/ is one of them.
HEHE. I was going to say "nah just cos she's got red tired eyes doesn't mean she's wasted" but yes... I've changed my mind. After seeing the way she talks and acts.. She must have had a few Js that morning .
now I wonder, if apple would have told her to be wasted when she came for the ad, or if she just was wasted when she came in, and the genius advertisment-creators (I do think some of them are really geniusses) got the idea of, instead of sending her away and telling her to come back when she was sober again, making an add with her wasted...
Well it certainly works. All adverts are designed to do is get your attention and get people talking about it. I think those geniuses can give themselves a few pats on the back .
She's hardly what I would call stoned. More realistically she's just your average stupid looking/stupid acting teenager.
