Its 35quid in the UK store. I'm quite tempted to get one for my powerbook.

there are 8 buttons on my mouse (granted i only use 5 + scrolling) it amuses me that apple have only just moved to 2 buttons
the thing has no ergonomics either, would definatley go with a real mouse over that :p

edit: wait is it two on the top and 2 on the side? thats better i thought it was primary on the top and secondary on the side(s). still sucks :p

    Looks as if it's a three button + scrolling on x & y axis.

I think it looks OK - it's in keeping with the 'normal' apple rodents. Of course, I would just have bought a new wired mouse... ;)

    lack of click-feedback = crap

i can also imagine that using that nipple would perhaos cause you to accidentally trigger the left/right buttons?

I'd have to try it before I bought it. I don't mind the ergonomics of Apple's mice but I'm happy with my current MS mouse that's like 4 years old. A trip to the Apple Store is in order (any excuse).

About time they made a multi-button mouse! The price isn't too bad at 54€ (same price as the normal bluetooth mouse).

The looks are ok. I love the fact that its still 1 shell and 2 buttons. But the scroll..ball is just ugly. Really ugly. Looks totally wrong and out of place. Unfortunatly I have no self-control and just have to buy one!

What's the differance between "roll" and "scroll," did they just want to fill all four corners?

Apparently its still a one button click mouse, the sensors are there to decide which button you want or it thinks you want to use at the time.

P.S. There is no speaker ;)

Sounds like the first people to try it aren't overly impressed with right clicking. You have to remove your left finger off the mouse to use it.

I think I might try one before getting one

kevo I think it does have a speaker this is taken from the apple site

    "Now Hear This

Mighty Mouse even sounds as good as it feels. The audio feedback built into Mighty Mouse provides an aural sensation that responds to your movements. A tiny speaker inside Mighty Mouse produces button-clicking and Scroll Ball-rolling sound effects."

Fudge that. Try again Apple. I suggest using ACTUAL BUTTONS YOU CLICK.

The ball thing is a neat idea though. Looks a bit stupid though. Like some kind of perverted techno-nipple.
