Can anyone with either one in their possession (and a pair of scales :)) or superior google skills to me please tell me how much the Apple Wireless Keyboard weighs? (either with or without batteries)

Much love and respect to anyone who can help :thumb:

This site says 1.5 lbs, and a lot of others say "around 2 pounds".

Seems a lot to me :eyebrow:

It is quite a big chunk of aluminium, a normal keyboard probably weighs nearly that imo.

    Why does it matter?

Thinking of using it at home for my htpc and also using it with my smartphone for proper typing on the move.

Just wondering now hefty is is going to be compared with a proper folding bluetooth keyboard. Might have to drop in to an Apple store and feel for myself (maybe take some scales along :eyebrow:)

Are you talking about the teeny tiny one without a number pad? I was just at the apple store, and they're pretty solid, dunno the actual weight.
