Welcome to Project BloodRage - By Aqua-Pcs: Liquid Designs Team

Project BloodRage is the latest project to be under taken by Aqua-Pcs in-house Watercooled case department, Liquid Designs.

As you can probably guess the project is based around Foxconns BloodRage motherboard. Using this as the base we will be creating a themed case for use at Multiplays I36 Lan Party in April.

The projects aim is to create a simple, functional mod focusing on sheer cooling power.

We will use this log as the man point of call where you can track the progress of the build and give comments / ask questions and for those of you going to i36 you can come and see it in the flesh!

As we begin we would like to take this opportunity to thank the projects sponsors who will be providing vital part to this project.

The shell of the case that you can see in the first post will be a nice gloss black.

These parts below im thinking of doing a bright gloss red to compliment the board:

Current Idea for the drive bays is:

    1 x Blue Ray Drive - Top
1 x XSPC 750 Bay Pump - Loop one Black Coolant
1 x XSPC 750 Bay Pump - Loop Two Red Coolant

Ok so today im looking at the panels of the case as you can probably see from the pic below these have already been laser cut fr a previous mod so im going to have to get rid of the middle part.

The red line shows the "rough" cut that will be made. I have two identical panels that i will be doing the same cut on and these will form the side panels of the case.

For the roof i have a solid panel that will hopefully get CNC'd with quite a cool design ;)

We also got some more goodies today from OCZ - Thanks guys, check out what we got in the first shipment:

The interesting thing to note about this little lot is actually the CPU block, we have been stocking the Hydroflow for a while now but this ones different:

They now have i7 brackets as standard! it will be interesting to see what sort of temps we get out of it as the XSPC delta which uses a similar design is doing very well on i7 CPU's
