I'll think about it. that shroud certainly also look very nice. since the case have not been painted yet it could easily fit!
I agree with Nutman, you should work on quality of photos. Have to ask..you really drilled like 250 holes by hand ? I'm afraid that, no matter how accurately you have dotted them and how precise is your hand, it's far from easy to make them evenly. Especially if you used small drill instead of a bench drill. Not to mention the air flow. I know this from my personal experience Anyway, I hope it came out well, but imo it would be much better to cut 2 big holes for fans and use some nice grills or the best option - laser cut the acrylic.
Guilty As Charged Used my Iphone for most of the pictures because my camera was gone. But the last post about the front panel I used my camera aint those better? ill be sure to get a tripod.
That front grill will starve the fans. A 1" slot in the bottom for 2 120mms is definitely not enough. You will get the dreaded 'whoooosh' noise. Generally you want the intake to be about the same surface area as the holes in the fans used. Even pattern drilling can be done if everything is marked out right. -I've mesh patterned a few bits of plexiglas in my lifetime.
So I've been talking to Ice Modz for some time now and we agreed on a sponsorship. Really appreciate it Link to the site. http://www.icemodz.com/ Check it out its awesome seriously.
A little update. This week I received my XSPC ram covers. They look so slick, simple and elegant. actually toke me some time to get them in the right place. very picky when it comes to things like this. Hope the picture quality is okay. (Please note a comment below if you have any suggestions to my way of taking photos really want to learn more about it. I'm actually moving to a new place "my IRL house" so thought of maybe making like a photo room with white bagground and good lighting.) Hope you all enjoy. leave a comment for me critics please. but constructive critics
Nice work. There is a little write up of how to take good shots on MDPC scroll to the bottom of the page. It helped me alooooong time ago.
Yep been thinking that as well. Going to put some carbon onto them instead Thanks lets see how the next photos is comming out
Not sure i would do that as the Di-Noc is pretty thick and would insulate it pretty well. But if you just do the two outer surfaces it might not be a big deal.
I was just going to put it on the outer surface (sides). But there have been a change of plans regarding the front panel and top. I will be making them from the bottom with aluminium.
Hey hands up people!. I have recently had a lot of problems with all kinds of stuff regarding the modding project and have come to the solution that it will get a complete twist! here is a very unprofessional sketch. I will be making a top part for the case. containing radiators and fans. Recreating the front with a slick front panel covered in carbon. Rest will be explained as the pictures will be coming. Stay Tuned!
Hey guys. A little Update ^^ Next week I will be getting a new and awesome camera that will hopefully fix the quality. as well I will be getting a tripod! The new camera is this one. Hope it will be great Today the PSU arrived but I will be taking the pictures of it when I get my new camera.
Hey guys. Sorry about how long it have been since last update. I will announce that Noctua have decided to join the project. http://www.noctua.at They have sponsored me with some of the best fans I've ever had. But in the coming weeks I will be showing some huge changes. A few things needs to get in order and hope you enjoyed your stay and will continue to.
I'm so excited about this update. I've been working all day on this, many hours with hand files. But this is a little update on how far I am in the progress. Decided to make a top cage as shown above in the drawing. Here is a teaser for it. Next update will be bending this guy and the all new front panel. Stay Tuned! hope you like the new turn of events!
