Archos is planning to update its Internet Media Tablet range with a new ultra-slim device running Google's open-source Android OS.

 

This is BRILLIANT!

I have always wondered why phone functionality was missing from MIDs. Up untill now, the point of having a MID has largely been null because you'll also need to carry a phone, and there isn't THAT much that a phone can't and a MID can do anymore these days.

Maybe holding the whole unit to your ear is a no-go, but with a bluetooth device you're all set!
I can now have navigation, internet, light computing, data travelling, music funtionality, and phone stuff all in one device. I do a lot of cycling, and i really REALLY would like having one of these with me on the road.
