had one of these things fitted which was a rev.1 and it sucks major bumfluff.
caused overheating and artifacts to occur in games/benchmarks. it didnt even fit on the memory properly and it shared the heat from the core with all mem chips.

beware if you are intending to buy one of these things for the radeon, ive had 2 others in the past and both were extremely good but these models are tosh.

also, while im here, is there any side effects of running the stock cooler on the x800 at full speed all the time? or is more benficial to let it be dynamic?

    :)

Sounds like you have the rev.1 version. They fixed all these problems with the rev.2. I am using the rev.2 atm and getting 37idle and 65 load.

2.7 eh, thats why then and because youve probably got dual channel.
im only at 2.4 with single channel mem.
still scored 5800 though so cant be that bad for socket754

System dosn't really make much difference with 3dmark05, with the system at stock, i lost about 100points most. Overclocking the card gave me the biggest boost. With it at stock, i got 6025 and with overclocking. I got the score shown on the link above. Over 6.7k. Trying for 7k atm, wish me luck:D
