Arctic silver removal

    What do i use to clean off artcis silver from my cpu?

    OCS Arctic Silver Removal kit worked wonders for me, but I've heard of people using nail varnish remover as well!

    i used acetone to thin it and then used wd40 to remove it :)

    If you're going to use acetone (very good stuff) - keep it away from plastic...

    this is what it did to a lil palstic box,

    it kindof 'melts' it (the top of the box is now stuck to the bottom) :) Cheers,

    dont get acetone on the skin cause itll burn/give u a rash. also dont wash it down the sink cause itll not do any good to your pipes neither! :rolleyes:

    I use near pure ethanol, but u can use paint removing fluid, white spirit or vodca :D

    It does? I know you're not supposed to wash it down sinks because it can take part in some very nasty reactions but your skin? It's never done me any harm :)
