anyone know of any stockists, would somewhere like B&Q or Homebase have such sheets?

i found this site: www.acrylic.co.uk , seems reasonable, but anyone had any experience with them?

    thx for your help :)

B&Q sell it at a similar price but also have thicker stuff.

I just bought some from B&Q. £12.99 for a 4"x2" sheet of 2mm. Wasn't a very good price. Focus were doing the same for £10.99, but that was all scratched and rubbish.

I made a window out of my sheet, looks great, but atracts minute scrached like a b****rd! Any cure for that? Varnish? Just not touching it? :)

It bent well under a heat gun too....

I don't mean to sound like a real dummy, but could anyone give me a link / show me what stuff I would be looking for on http://www.technologysupplies.co.uk/ as to stuff that would be best for using as a case window.

I really don't know what I should be looking for, well acrylic obviously but thats about it :worried:

Yeh, but I wanted it nownownow, so I paid the extra. Maybe I could start a mail order 2"x2" service... I bet there's a market for it.

I think Macro was taking the P's

    2" x 2" = 5cm x 5 cm (approx) :hehe:

    You should have said 2' x 2' :D

    LOLOL, yeah :)

A 4"x2" window would be for looking at a small section of your motherboard or something.

I used 2mm for my window, and I think it was just a little too thin. So I'd recommend something thicker than 2mm.
