There's a similar thread at HotUKDeals suggesting it's a Tiscali/Pipex group problem.

Changed to OpenDNS settings, **** Pipex.

 

Works ok for me on BT, a little slower than normal, but it is working.

Would help you much, I use OpenDNS, stiill very slow

 

It's not a DNS resolution issue. It instead appears to be routing/pipes issues.
