Other Are i3 processors 64bit?

This is a stupid question, I realise this but google really failed me today as I could not find the answer to this..

Ordered the Intel® Core i3 540 Dual Core processor for an upgrade (i know, its cheap but im currently on a low budget until i get proper employment. Its a decent upgrade for me, trust)

aaaaaand I wanna install 64bit Win 7 Home premium so I can use Adobe After Effects.

Stupid question to most of you I know, I just can't seem to find a damn thing that says "yes, yes it is." I know the i5 and the i7 are, just wondering if the i3 is due to the fact its basically the entry level processor.
