Are there any good dual Athon XP cpu motherboards?

    I was recently looking into a dual cpu system, considering that the upgrade probably wouldn't be more than 200 dollars (100 some for the mobo, 80 for the 2500+)

    So, are there any dual XP motherboards?

    You can't get a dual Athlon XP motherboard, there are dual Athlon MP motherbaords. You can't take that chip you have there and put it in a dual processor motherboard(In addition to another Athlon XP). I think that's what you were hinting towards anyway...

    But you'd have to but two new seperate processors(Athlon MP's) and the motherboard. Or you could get dual Opteron processors.To me dual processor systems are a waste(unless you're doing video editing while doing a bunch of multitasking).

    Edit: I think it would cost a lot more than 200 to get this stuff too..

    actually there's a guide somewhere showing you how to turn a XP into an MP .google it and see ,i'll have a look for you too.
