Thanks again all for feedback and info, I've decided to go for these Crucial Ballistix DIMMs, they're RGB too and as I'll be getting a windowed Phanteks P600S they'll add a bit of colour. I read a review of the Ballistix 3200 where the reviewer managed to get them up to 3800 on an X570 board, so that I'll definitely be doing that myself but it'll be a nice option.

I have 3600 version of those Crucial Ballistix RrrrGeeBee. I didn't manage 3800 on x570 board with the 2x16GB sticks, there were WHEA errors after boot up.

I have also got a Adata 2x16GB 3000 kit. I had a Ryzen 3600 with B550 previously. The Adata kit isn't on the previous B550 nor current X570, but it still worked well. Ran it at 3400 initially, didn't test it expensively, then months later had unexplained crashes, so dialled back to XMP.

Currently, I'm running at 3333 MHz CL16 with both kits on x570. I've tested extensively and not found any problem. There were a single error at 3400 out of many days of memory testing, so I dropped down 1 speed grade and completed many days of different memory testing no errors.

This is my thread for your information when you are bored: https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/3000-to-3600-upgrade-worth-it.384246/

I guess my message is that if it's not on QVL, it should still work, but YMMV. If you want to overclock memory, don't put too much faith into internet reports until you do your own testing, bad RAM overclock will cause unexplained crashes, RAM testing takes a LOOOOONG time. Most hassle-free way is to buy RAM listed on QVL and run at the rated speed.

Corsair seem to use varying quality of memory on their seemingly identical kit's. I've got 2 kits of 3600 cl 18 stuff with the same part number one kit is micron E die the other Nanya A die. I can have them both running at their rated speeds but not together and the Nanya stuff doesn't like full speed on my MSI X470 board although it's fine on my Asus X470 and MSI B450.

I've also never had any problems with crucial so they're definitely a good shout.
