    It says that length is 34 cm but it seems to me that the lighted are is a lot shorter. Neons are also quite dimm so I'm not sure how powerfull that effect would be... just a thought.

    That looks like a 15" tube to me. (What I bought in US)

    Here is a good image that should give you the scale it has compared to a case:

    yeah i remembered yours and i was kinda hoping these werent the same thing, although your mod was good its not the kinda thing i would build

    They are not the same thing, but they are the same size.
    Plus I am sure you can find the original car version cheaper.
