A/V are those directional speakers on the market?

    you know the type I'm talking about, traditional speakers are like a flashlight, the sound gets spread out, the speakers I'm talking about are like a laser.

    if that doesn't explain it well, try this:
    a traditional CRT monitor can be viewed from many angles, new flatpanel monitors can only be viewed from a couple degrees, like the speakers can be heard from only a few angles (get too far to one side and you can't hear them)

    are these available on the market? what is their real name?

    Ah, I've seen those on an Inventions TV show, but not anywhere in stores yet... anyway, amazing technology, that.

    dang, i wanted to be able to bladt my music without my parents yelling...

    I saw that episode, it looked like it was still being developed, hadn't quite put it on the market yet.
