what do you have running on your system at the moment...are you pushing your memory to the limit? right now i have 19 browser windows, winamp, remote center, nav 2002, LCDC, BPFTP, zonealarm pro, messanger, and MBM.... everything is zipping along just fine.... how about you? edit: and photoshop 7
I'm running... All kinds of stuff. Most of my systems act as servers, but my workstations are currently running: Workstation #1 Epic4 (IRC) The Gimp (image editing) A few dozen terminals with SSH connections active Various IM crap I have to have for friends #2 Propellerhead's Reason (Audio software) Nothing else. With 1.5 gigs of ram, I still manage to use it up with some of my more intensive songs, loading a few hundred samples taxes any system.

I really like the tab feature that Mozilla & Galeon have. There's an add-on for IE that does it too. Forget where, but a past co-worker had it on his machine.
Well, I run Win98SE with 768MB Infineon PC133-222; no comments please Right now, I have 636MB free memory. I once tried to assign 400MB to DVDX to rip a DVD and Windows told me that I have insufficient memory, although the windows system monitor showed over 500megs free mem :cries: time to switch to XP I think. Oh forgot, I'm also running Suse Linux 7.3 and the maximum mem usage I ever got was around 550 megs. But Linux sucks. I'm a windows user, and proud of it :dude:
