    im downloadin at 50k and uploadin at 12k....290 peers 16 seeds.

    no probs with mine matey.

    just leave it on as it will switch to another seed or gather from peers

    thats weird now im going at 70k/12k.....but u cannot connect.

    im using bittornado as my software....and my settings are stock.

    try downloading the torrent again.

    I played it a little and I got scared so I quit for now to go eat. Looked neat though. I'll be playing it tonight for sure. Hope you can get that torrent working! Try FilePlanet if not.

    yeah that guy rocked... I thought it was pretty good from an atmosphere POV... need to play a bit more to be sure about the game play though.

    After just 6 hours of sleep, I'm up (but feel like crap). Torrent was only at 25% with 159MB down but 291MB up. So abandoning that - ripping from 1UP with my download manager at around 40k/s. It's still 3-5 hours worth, but I should have it sometime after lunch

    try one of the membership sites, got mine in under an hour after the wait b/c im not a subscriber to whatever. Game is great so far, and has two heart jumping parts to it.

    As if there are a lot of innovative FPSs comming out lately? HL2 and Doom 3 were worse than FEAR.

    I played the demo. FEAR is very awesome I think. The game play is pretty linear but the atmosphere of the game is creepy and nice, with the exception of the whole soldier bit. The graphics are very nice and the AI is simply fantastic. Physics are decent. Gameplay is very fun. I will be picking up this game when it hits shelves.

    The AI is great - always trying to outflank you and pin you down. Hopefully this will breed a new level of AI, taking games to the next level.
