There is a world of difference between some Greenpeace activists making a conscious decision to place themselves in danger and go near an oilrig (and I share your sinking view to some extent) and what could clearly be considered a "dumb" animal wandering harmlessly into a road and seeking refuge on a roundabout (grass, no cars, seems like sheep heaven). Are you seriously trying to tell me that the UK police have so little imagination that they couldn't ROUND UP ONE SHEEP and move it, the HAD to kill it? that was their LAST RESORT? People train DOGS to do this job. Please. "POOR SHEEP". I agree. It had no Idea what was happening and did not deserve to be destroyed.
I have no problem with the sheep being shot, but I don't understand *why* they couldn't ship it off to be slaughtered, cleaned, and packaged like all the other sheep... I mean I'd like to know that someone was wearing the wool and eating the chop...
I agree. If they had tryed to round up the sheep it may have legged it and gone onto the road and caused a major accident. And it was swedish police!

A bloke at work went to vietnam and had a go firing off an ak47 he had the option to fire a rocket launcher the target would have been a cow. Maybe we could send the police off to vietnam to get some practise.
