i have a silver chieftec dragon case and the front bezel scratchs so easily!. I just finished putting my neon string in and i noticed that the front was scratched. As it t is only painted plastic at the front they scratch really easily. You can't hide the scratchs well with paint because a) it is hard to match the shade of silver and b) the front is textured with bumpy bits and this makes the paint show up really bad. If I scratch it anymore times i will just have to spray the whole bezel with the silver i have. Is there anything i can put/spray on the paint to protect it better?
other people may not notice the scratchs but you always know its there and it is like a black dot on a perfectly clean white piece of paper.
have you given any thought to vinyl dye? (only for the plastic bezel though) Linear has some shweet pics posted on his place that shows what happens when you give him a can of it. *sorry Linear...had to pimp your site out*
loli made the mistake of letting my dad at the driveblank of my lian-li he was drilling 2 x 1mm holes for fibreoptics for leds on the cd-rw but he started drilling a 3rd!! it was sooo annoying so i said sod it and told him to drill the 3rd one right thru and i put fo cable in that too and it looks good, it just doesnt do anything
lol, this however was my fault and i am not sure you can get vinyl die in a metallic silver. I am going to spray the front with a different colour of silver when i get the chance.
some auto stores can actually mix the dye to your color...i had the seats in my '66 mustang dyed to match the outside paint...charcoal gray... the dye only cost me $5 and they had it mixed in a day...all i had to do was take in a sample color. You may want to look into that.
