Well, the X570 version was ~ $1000 and, apparently, precious few made it past reviewers and sponsored modders and into the hands of consumers.

I'm pretty glad to see Asrock doing the Aqua line to the Z490 product line, unlike AMD doesn't overclock well, but intel does and this is the perfect motherboard if you want to overclock.
Sponsored ones didn't come from the 999 IIRC, at least all the guys I know (myself included) had their names engraved in them rather than #/999.
Do you know the final price of the motherboard?

I understand. A similar version may also be interesting, perhaps at a more accessible cost.
I'd say the reverse is true, you need a better motherboard to get a better overclock out of a stubborn chip. You could probably run a 10900k @5.3 all cores on a pancake.
One thing is for sure, it's so dam beautiful.
