News Assassin's Creed 2 DLC was cut from full game

I might have bought the first game and this one if they hadn't blatantly removed DX10.1 support for Ati cards in the first one.

 

Oops we do not have enough time for the ending... well just sell the thing and we can charge them for the ending later. I mean **** it we can make more money by selling it in parts anyways.

I mean why buy a completed item for full price when you can buy it in parts for full price plus an additional price.

 

Umm, correct me if i'm wrong but thats exactly what they did if you read the article properly.

Ridiculous concept, if it was in the game originally it should have stayed in the game, not been cut out for later profiteering!!

DLC should be about new parts developed after the game is released to improve playability and longevity of a product.

What I mean is they didn't cut out finished content, they planned to make this stuff, perhaps got part way through making it, but it had to be cut to allow them to release in time. This happens all the time in just about every game ever made. They're now finishing this stuff they couldn't finish before and releasing it as DLC

 

WOW? Really? Like companies haven't done this before. the Matrix part 2 and 3 was really one movie. Left for Dead 2 is basically DLC from LFD1. Modern warfare 2 is the rest of Modern Warfare 1. Musicians always release a greatest hits albums with unheard left over songs on it. Valve is milking Half Life 2 about as much as Capcom did with Street Fighter 2.

It's only logical that companies in an attempt to generate revenue would remove some of the final product and resale it later.
