Xbox 360 Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

I watched those videos and it seemed really easy as the target had an icon over their head when the assassin got close. Does that happen in game?

 

No!

 

What icon do you mean? If your pursuer goes into high-profile (running, leaping) while in your line of sight they will get a red triangle above their heads while they are in high profile. Often you see it as they jog around corners as they've slightly misjudged your line of sight. The only other things I can think of are the button prompts (X/B). Or do you mean the icons in the team videos? You only see them for your own team mates who are not your targets.

 

On Shenmue's POV when that dude is in the church hiding, @4.51, there's a green icon over his targets head?

 

Do you mean the blue padlock? That's because he's locked onto Squiiddish. You can lock on to anyone including the NPCs. The lock system is a bit of a pita tbh.

In other news I just got in a Wanted match with SHENMUE36 He came 3rd, I was 2nd. (I joined late too) raaaah!

Have a read through this thread, I think the majority of us are enjoying it

I am a complete fangirl for the AC world (see sig v), but I will admit there have been problems. Especially with multiplayer. It is the first AC title to have it after all and they're still learning. Every patch seems to fix something and break something else. Match-making used to be painfully slow, but the games ran fine. Now the match-making is super-fast but the lag in games can be horrific. They are listening to us though, so I haven't lost hope

 

Hurrah - they fixed matchmaking (that was a real pain).
Boo - they broke the game!

Haven't played in a couple of weeks - need to get back into it now I have the DLC.

The online really is a revelation. It is such a different approach to every other game which seems to be simply 'run and gun'. I really hope they expand on it further in the next game, but steer clear of the temptation to give out more fire-arms. It would be a real shame if it went in that direction.

Do you just play 'Wanted' Hex or do you play any of the team modes?

 

Yeah I really love it. No other multiplayer has ever sucked me in quite like this! Rumours I've heard all say ACIII will have multiplayer

Mainly Wanted yes, though I am trying the team modes now, but only in Player matches, not Ranked. I've played Manhunt a few times. First time I basically won the game for the team, so that was nice. Subsequent ones haven't been as great though. Had a match last night where all but 1,000 of my team's points were from me. Apparently my team-mates thought the defence round meant running around like lunatics and doing no blending or stunning. The two ways to get points in that round It also meant the opposition spent less time looking for me so I had to go out stalking my hunters to get stuns while trying to stay in moving blend groups to accumulate points. When I'm confident I can play with randoms well I'll try some ranked matches.

Didn't manage to get into a game of Chest Capture yet and I only want to try Alliance with a partner I know. There's too much scope for that to go pear-shaped if you don't co-operate.

Because of all the laggy matches over the weekend I didn't get a decent game in at all so I only moved up 3 places in the FFA Templar Grade Pyramid. Now at #161 I'd really hoped I'd get into the top 150 for this week.

Little bump to say I finally got Extreme Variety last night in a match of Assassinate I was thrilled, got ready to take a photo of the stats screen at the end and... booted If I've lost that EV because of the stupid issue with booting off at the end of most matches I will go mad. I still need a Triple Escape for Abstergo Employee of the Month though, so I shall be running like a crazy person in some Player matches of Manhunt now I think!

The kill that got me the EV was insane for bonuses. I think I got: Stun+Grounded+Focus+Poison+Revenge+Poacher+Saviour+Chain+EXTREME VARIETY I didn't see it all though as I was killed immediately after.

 

If anyone wants to see the madness that is SuperPRO, I stumbled into a match earlier on tonight with Rainie, SHENMUE36 & LadyHorus. As soon as I saw Rainie as the Hellequin & SHENMUE36 as the Captain I knew I needed to equip my PROfile. Lots of gunfire ensued. Especially on Rainie, I couldn't help it, she was just always there when I was on a roof with my gun off cooldown! Anyway she was streaming it all and it's now available online for your viewing pleasure. The SuperPRO I stumbled into starts at about 01:53 (that's 1hr by the way, not 1min) in.

These matches are silly good fun, but they always happen at ridiculous o'clock for me. It's almost 06:00 and I'm just going to bed

 

do they only play on xbox?

 

Shenmue only plays on 360, LadyHorus is on 360 & PC and Rainie plays on 360, PS3 & PC. I like how the first thing Rainie did when I shot her was to see if I was on her friendlist and then add me XD

Also you hear Shenmue talk about my signature move! That was sooo funny. We had some random PRO matches on Sunday night as well, we ended up in Monteriggioni and in a mad, running, trying to lock first frenzy I managed to lock Shenmue first while Captain Awesome was on one of the low ballistrades of the steps. So when my Dama did her dropkill she didn't pull him down by his feet... and because he was facing me it wasn't his belt either... she grabbed him by the crotch and threw him off the steps

As I know you all love hearing my hatemail, this is what happened last night when I got into a game (1min remaining... yay) with someone on my friendlist (Christian) and my hateclub (Jock, Suicidal & Lycanthro) were in there... He sounds so excited to see me It's a shame my friends couldn't get online quick enough to get into a match with them before they went offline. One day we'll get them, one day!

Added this in too, the other night I got into a couple of matches with SHENMUE36 that happened to be livestreamed and I finally (finally on video anyway) beat him twice and came 2nd in the 3rd game... but a certain someone made a bit of a 'phail' at the end of the video and it had to be deleted So anyway, this one was from last night when me, T0xicLotus & FlailingAmigo got into a couple of SuperPRO matches with SHENMUE36 & Phailtacular46. I didn't do very well, but that kind of isn't the point. I do get the most PRO of SuperPRO gunshots off on MSM too..!
