Its fun... but this is game where completing everything is DEFINITELY not necessary. One thing about this game was that I was driven to complete it just to see the end of the story. The gameplay itself became very repetitive after the second assassination. You know things aren't quite balanced right when, as an assassin, you can take out 10+ soldiers singlehandedly in sword combat. I'm supposed to be an assassin, not the highlander!

LOL the highlander, whens that game coming out anyways? Best movie trilogy ever.

I think there is DX9 AA, if not it would probably be greyed out. Only real evidence is in playing the game, I notice alot less jaggies between 1/3 and 3/3. My guess is its a custom AA+HDR designed by the developers, as it doesn't do the best job (assuming its supposed to be 4xAA) kind of like they did for the Advanced Warfighter games.

The game does have a type of LOD distance where it turns more blurry, more jaggies, doesn't really detract from the in game look as its almost like the heat wash you get on hot days imo.

IMHO the jag is way too much at long distances.

this is why when the screenshot seeing the master, it's okay. but when in actual gameplay, it's jaggered.
this is a actual in-game screenshot of 8800GTX Dx10, everything on max. and as you can see, at long distances, the shadow are very jaggered, just like Bit's screenshot.

mind you, this is an improvement over 174.74

This autumn is the current projected release date, hope it lives up to the films!

They should definitely get Christopher Lambert in to do some voice work too...

There seems to be a little misunderstanding here. :hehe:

I wasn't talking about jaggies, I was talking about JPG compression artifacts. Those are two completely different things.
See the first pic I posted, with the red highlights? On the edges, there are some "anomalies" in the image, whereas in our screenshots, there aren't any. Watch them closely.

How do you disable the huge black bands on the top and bottom? I use 1280x1024 LCD and a huge ammount of screen is taken up.

I'm pretty sure the game is widescreen only...
I finished this last night. Had heaps and heaps of fun (was quite suprised actually), however some of the assassinations and the last couple of hours were crap. Endless sword fights and no option of stealth is very meh. I think overall a 8/10 is a good score. I look forward to the sequal :)
