    God I can't even be bothered to argue with that statement. It so obviously is, but whatever, s'up to you. Bottom line is, I wanted the details of the twist revealed to me in the game, not by some bloke on the internets. As I say, this isn't a game I'm that bothered about, but nevertheless it's annoying to have things spoiled for you. Let's not carry this discussion on - if you don't want to put spoiler tags on, that's your prerogative.

    ah, I thought I tried that....
    OK, so, everyone that's gotten past
    the first memory block
    what do you think of
    the animus and the company? Anyone have an idea of what's to come? I'm guessing that there'll be another twist at the end, they could really do anything with this future thing.

    Dear me this game is brilliant. Joe was so wrong the sci-fi twist doesn't ruin it at all.

    I love the game itself and I even told Joe he didn't have anything to worry about with the futuristic stuff.

    I am disappointed with the collector's edition though. The Altair figure looks nothing like it's supposed to and it's only 3 inches tall. :(

    Hugo has confirmed my suspicion. The guess I made about the futuristic twist back when the game was first announced (almost three years ago now) was exactly spot on. To me, it's utterly predictable.

    I'm starting to think that
    the bits in the lab
    are really spoiling it - ruins the suspension of belief more than the GUI stuff...

    Is there actually a point to the inclusion of the twist or is it just there for the sake of having a twist, I don't really see any reason why the game would need it. I think this one is going on my christmas list, too many games out right now, with me pre-ordering mass effect and guitar hero 3, I don't think I can afford any more.
